- Describe the importance of a primary assessment and the different components within it.
- Demonstrate the ability to conduct a primary assessment.
- Describe the decision-making criteria for determining whether to provide care on site or immediately transport a patient.
- Define pulse oximetry.
- Demonstrate use of a pulse oximeter, including evaluation of the reading.

Secondary Assessment:
- Describe the importance of a secondary assessment, the different components within it, and when to conduct it.
- Demonstrate the ability to conduct a secondary assessment (including vitals and patient history).
